Visitors to the next Open Evening at New College, Telford are invited to find out more about the wide range of courses available from September 2011.

 

The Open Evening is at New College, King Street, Wellington on Thursday 23 June 2011, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

 

Potential students can meet specialist staff from all areas. There will also be an opportunity to see progress on the new building now under development and opening September 2011.

 

The new two-storey building will provide performance areas for dance and sport, a new fitness suite, changing rooms and new learning and teaching areas. The new student restaurant is also now open and complementary tea and coffee will be available during the open evening.

 

Beverly Tyley, Deputy Principal said: “As well as the fantastic new building, which is now nearing completion, we are refurbishing areas right across the college over the summer to add to the learning environment and provide great social spaces for our students.”

 

Beverly continued: “Our £3 Million building and refurbishment programme is well underway. It is designed to ensure that the college is best placed to help our students succeed. All students starting or returning in September 2011 will see the benefits of this major investment.”
