All places are on recommendation and all participants must be prepared to sing as a soloist as a part of the Masterclass in front of their peers. They must have chosen a musical theatre piece in advance, and come having undertaken initial preparation, learnt the lyrics etc. They must bring a copy of the sheet music, not a recording or backing tape. There will be two accompanists assisting in this workshop. The programme will include a performance by Rosie Ashe, where she will also discuss her work in the industry and answer questions etc. She will introduce students to her method of ‘warm ups’ and all participants will take part in practical session. She will select a number of students for one - one sessions and a Masterclass, and all participants will take part in a number of workshop activities. On the second day there will be a short informal concert at 3pm to which parents and friends will be invited.
