TEACHER OF ECONOMICS
The College is currently seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Economics to deliver AS/A2 Economics to students.
The ideal candidate will have a passion and enthusiasm for the subject/s, reflected through knowledge and experience with a proven track record of success.
The ability to plan engaging, stimulating and meaningful teaching and learning activities is essential with the willingness to take a proactive approach to strategies to meet the needs of our learners is seen as essential.
In the first instance it would be 5 hours teaching per week AS Economics for new students commencing their studies with New College Telford for the academic year 2017/2018. Consideration will be given to the contract being either on an hourly paid basis or fixed term contract with a 0.21 FTE for the academic year 2017/2018.

TEACHER OF MUSIC TECHNOLOGY
Fixed Term Contract 0.45 FTE in the first instance may increase to 0.5 FTE for August 2017
The College is seeking to appoint an experienced and talented teacher to join a committed team with a good range of teaching and professional experience. There are opportunities to work with the team to develop external links.
You will have successful experience of teaching Music Technology and Music Production to a high standard.
In addition, there may be opportunities to contribute to the teaching of related Music courses and/or Musical Theatre.
You will have a strong commitment to and enjoy working with and enthusing young adult learners.

The College is seeking to appoint a College Administrator, to join the College Administration team in providing an effective and efficient level of cross College administrative support across the areas of curriculum, student services, study centre and quality.
The post of College Administrator is central to the support areas across the College. Therefore, the post holder will be required to provide excellent levels of clerical and administrative support including, but not exclusive to, document processing, photocopying, maintenance of filing systems, data entry fielding telephone calls and taking messages.
The successful candidate will be required to maintain and update College records as appropriate, as such experience of data input/interpretation and in the operation of management information systems is essential.

Assessor/Trainer - Health and Social Care
The College is seeking to appoint experienced Assessor/Trainers for Health and Social Care to deliver Health and Social Care Apprenticeships from Level 2 to Level 5.
In order to deliver on the Level 5 pathways in Residential Management, Advanced Practitioner and Adult Management within the Care Sector, the successful candidate will need to have had experience and qualifications at a high level within the Care Sector. For example; Registered Manager Award or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services Registered Manager pathway.
There is the potential of full time and part time roles, could you please indicate on your application form your preference.
Full time working hours are 37 hours per week.
Assessor/Trainer - Professional Cookery
The College is seeking to appoint an experienced Assessor/Trainer for Professional Cookery Apprenticeships in the following areas;
- Professional Cookery – Level 2 and 3 Professional Cookery, Level 2 Food Production and Level 2 Kitchen Services
This is a part time role.
BANK OF TEACHING STAFF
The College is looking to add to their in-house bank of temporary teaching staff to provide cover at short notice for instances such as sickness absence, vacancies etc. to support our experienced teaching staff for the 2016/2017 academic year.
Whether you are an NQT or experienced teacher, we are looking for supply teachers who can cover teaching needs across the curriculum areas within the College; Communication and Science, Business and Maths, Social Sciences, Health & GCSE Newstart, Vocational Studies (BTEC) and HE.
There is no guarantee of a set number of hours being available; the hours of work will vary depending on the short or long term requirements. However, due to the nature of the work the ability to offer a flexible approach to availability is essential as you will be requested to work at short notice.
A scheme of work is in place within each curriculum area, however, depending on the length of the cover required you will be required to undertake some planning, marking and preparation for the classes you are responsible for teaching.
Successful candidates must hold a teaching qualification.
